Photograph of Bloxham village

Councillors >Richard Morley

I'm Richard and have lived in the village for 20 years. My family and I moved here from West Yorkshire so that I could take up a role at Hella Limited. The village quickly became our home. Our two children both attended The Warriner School before completing their secondary education in Stratford and progressing to university in Edinburgh and Loughborough. Both now live away from Bloxham. My wife works in reminiscence at Banbury Museum supporting oral history projects in Banbury and Kidlington. Following a successful period at Hella Limited, my career took me elsewhere in the automotive sector in the UK and Europe, culminating in running an electronics manufacturing business serving the emergency services market. I took retirement from that role earlier in the year and now look forward to contributing to village life through involvement with the Parish Council. I have an interest in retaining the rural nature of the village whilst seeking to ensure that appropriate services are available for residents.
